|The following events took place between 4:58 p.m. and 7:22 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4th. We begin by examining the condition of the deck in the back of the house.
This is the deck without the lattice that we do not like.
This is the railing coming off of the deck (note - this was WAY too easy).
This is the deck without the railing. Dangerous, but perhaps more attractive.
These are the deck boards tossed on the ground. Watch out for rusty nails sticking up from the boards, they do not feel good when entering your left foot (or your right, for that matter - but I only have experience with the left one). As a public safety message, I highly recommend staying current on your tetanus shots.
This is decidedly no longer a deck.
A stairway to... nowhere.
Yes, the deck is gone. But those white chairs. Why are they still there? Why didn't he move them?
Okay, now everything is gone.
Where did it all go? Why, into the rubble pile filling up the yard, that's where. Anyone interested in old, disintegrating lumber? Thought not.
Uh oh. Big step down.
