|With the plumbing through the floor complete, electrical wires run up from the basement, and the entire column-and-shower-threshold situation settled, it was time to install the subfloor, thus seriously reducing the chance that someone is going to put a foot through the living-room ceiling:
Mike also attached a bunch of furring strips to the brick wall to accommodate the thickness of the original tile (which we would never try to remove, as it would damage a lot of the underlying brick):
One can almost imagine? a bathroom!
